Summary

Really worth it especially if you read it every day every page。 Lovs!

3 out of 10 This book has barely anything to do with Wonder。 In short, this book is just a collection of 365 hand-drawn quotes, one for each day of the year。 There is nothing inherently bad about what I just said, but what irks me about this book is that this book just feels like it was made to capitalize on the popularity of the book and the movie。 It's called, 365 days of WONDER, for crying out loud。 Some of the quotes they selected for this book are decent quotes, but that doesn't justi 3 out of 10 This book has barely anything to do with Wonder。 In short, this book is just a collection of 365 hand-drawn quotes, one for each day of the year。 There is nothing inherently bad about what I just said, but what irks me about this book is that this book just feels like it was made to capitalize on the popularity of the book and the movie。 It's called, 365 days of WONDER, for crying out loud。 Some of the quotes they selected for this book are decent quotes, but that doesn't justify the fact that this book was made to capitalize on the success of Wonder。 I guess you could argue that the random essays at the end of each month of quotes make it acceptable that you plaster, "WONDER" in bold on the front cover。 The essays are nothing to write home about, they're pretty forgettable, and in my opinion, there should have to be a lot more Wonder-like content in this book, before you can go out saying that this is a book about Wonder。 Sorry for the rant。 The quotes are quite nice, and they're often creatively hand-drawn, but this doesn't change that this book is a cash grab。 I don't blame the author for this, I blame the publisher but just look at the book cover。 。。。more

I loved reading this book full of inspirational quotes and insights from the lives of these students as well as their teacher。 There were a lot of quotes from Victor Hugo, but I liked the unconventional ones from Avatar the last Airbender, Taylor Swift, and the kids themselves! My favorite quote can be found on October 16。 ;)

I loved this devotional book。 I also liked how it is linked with the first book, which is wonderful。 I didn't have the patience to wait a whole year to finish a book, so I just read it within the hour。 I liked each and every one of the quotes。 Would totally recommend it。 4/5 I loved this devotional book。 I also liked how it is linked with the first book, which is wonderful。 I didn't have the patience to wait a whole year to finish a book, so I just read it within the hour。 I liked each and every one of the quotes。 Would totally recommend it。 4/5 。。。more

I’m a sucker for a good precept, especially after reading RJ Palacio’s book, Wonder。 I really began enjoying how each day had its own quote to read, with little intros from the fictional English teacher, Mr Browne。 Then。 Then I realized how very many authors of said precepts were men。 It’s overwhelmingly filled with precepts from men in general, and white men specifically。 It became distracting, to be honest。 The index in the back included profiles of those who said or wrote the original quotes。 I’m a sucker for a good precept, especially after reading RJ Palacio’s book, Wonder。 I really began enjoying how each day had its own quote to read, with little intros from the fictional English teacher, Mr Browne。 Then。 Then I realized how very many authors of said precepts were men。 It’s overwhelmingly filled with precepts from men in general, and white men specifically。 It became distracting, to be honest。 The index in the back included profiles of those who said or wrote the original quotes。 That was a welcome addition for interest, but definitely made it clear whose voices were included, and which were not。 Disappointing。 。。。more
